Your guide: Aaron Weaver

Aaron Weaver is a stand-up comedian, facilitator, and founder of Shamady, a spiritual comedy hub exploring humor as a path to freedom. He began performing stand-up in Chicago in 2009, quickly gaining recognition for a voice that was both deeply absurd and unexpectedly soulful — unafraid to explore the smartest and stupidest thoughts that run through all of our minds.

Over the past 15+ years, Aaron has performed at the Just For Laughs Festival, the Boston and New York Comedy Festivals, and has been named one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch, one of Last Comic Standing’s Top 100 Comedians, and one of LA’s Rising Stars by The Culture Trip. His stand-up album Cosmic Joke regularly streams on SiriusXM.

As an instructor, Aaron blends real stand-up craft with presence, play, and self-inquiry, helping students turn lived experience into material while feeling safer being seen. Through his workshops and Shamady, he creates spaces where people can meet fear and self-judgment with humor, loosen self-seriousness, and discover a lighter way of being, on stage and off.
